Description:This is a texture pack for The Legend of Zelda: Collector's Edition, Master Quest disc and VC versions of Zelda OOT and Zelda MM. Depending on the game you play, the textures folder will need a different name.Original texture sources:- Zelda OOT Community Retexture Project for Nintendo 64 emulators:- Bluedart's Majora's Mask texture pack for N64 emulators:- Nerrel's Majora's Mask texture pack for N64 emulators:- Some OOT textures come from a 3DS inspired texture pack:- Artwork from zeldawiki. I actually don't think I know what I am do lol but it looks easy enough. How are you modifying the textures?
I have photoshop, I can see what I can do with the OOT start screen for the NTSC version if you want.EDIT - It works, what is suppose to be missing from the start screen cause it looked like the textures were there. Short version: I use Paint.NET. The logo in the master quest disc (normal game), PAL version, looks like this. Some of them just look too far from the originals for my personal taste.They follow the same structure as the original texture pack (areas, characters, menu, hud.), only with no capital letters. It's very organized. I probably wouldn't have done this texture pack otherwise. I just discovered how to mix those textures that had a colored background with their alpha mask. Now the grass doesn't look aliased. Well, I'll have to take another look to a lot of textures I modified the bad way (I used the magic want in Paint.NET). Including the logo that's made of many pieces.
Ngggghhh.Edit: I've just fixed all textures I was talking about except for the main logo, which I'll finish tomorrow probably. All of that will be for the next release (my upload speed is very slow, so I can't be uploading new versions every day). I got motivated to resume the retexturing again. I tried my hand at editing some textures awhile back, first time in 3 years. I'm pleased with the flexibility and overall improvements of Glide's plugin over Rice's. For all those interested in editing the way Mario or Samus looks, here's a quick guide to get you started. First you're going to want to download the emulator, I prefer. Next you'll need the latest plugin. Obviously Glide64 should be made the default GFX plugin, whereby the appropriate box in Graphics Configuration. Upon changing the configuration a new tab should present itself.
These are the are the settings I recommend, but feel free to experiment for the best results. Rice format is a must given that 'none' makes everything look like a mess. Also hovering over each option gives a brief exposition on its purpose (e.g. Texture dumping can be switched on/off with D, and reloading the new textures with R).

There's two ways to go about editing the textures themselves. Enabling texture dump and playing the game dumps the textures to texturestexturedumpSMASH BROTHERS. Any texture dumped can be edited and thus reloaded into the game with R. The second way, and easier, would to be to to the textures folder and edit everything based off that. The latter option is preferred due to each texture being organized to specific directories (i.e. Mario's textures are in the Mario folder). If the textures refuse to load, then make sure the texture directory is.Note that other people via netplay will not see the same textures without the specified texture pack.
